Handling Sales Taxes at Flea Markets and Craft Shows





As Crafter, you May not be the most business-minded person in the world. However, if you succeed in the world of craft fairs and festivals, you have to think like business people! One of the ways in which it is learning about the tax before you click the event. Here are things you need to know about handling tax on fairs and festivals.


1 You have to pay! Whether you pay taxes on the show or later, when the file your state taxes, you must pay taxes on what they do. It is actually illegal to not pay state taxes! From a business perspective, paying this extra money can actually make sense. This allows you to justify their business and use the proceeds from it when you are looking for a mortgage, car loan, or similar items.
