Are You Using Scrapbook Charms? You Should Be!

Translating ...

If this is the first time that you come across the phrase, scrapbook charms are very similar to a charm bracelet. These are small pieces of metal cut, pressed and painted to look like miniature versions of everything, whether a pair of scissors, Minnie Mouse, or ribbons, they really could be anything!

In the same way that tailors have a tray full of buttons, my scrapbook supplies have a tray full of different scrapbooking charms. Some of these I have brought in stores, while others have actually taken from some of my old charm bracelet.

So why would the use of these charms in your scrapbook? Well, it really makes a scrapbook to life, it really shows that you care about small details and contributions on the subject of a scrapbook.

A lot of times I've come across albums that are missing the finishing touches. Pages that are beautiful and carefully maintained, but just felt a bit dry and clinical. If a person had added some scrapbook charms in the right places, it would really add a lot of character and the book for good to great!

Its hard to describe the feeling you get when you see an album that has some magic added in here and there. However, most of the Scrappers, I talked to agreed that the magic really add a little touch of magic when it is turned on.

so now you can add a touch of magic to your next project with some scrapbook charms.
