Getting your Arts and Crafts Business Started

It can be a difficult transition from doing a few trades for friends, family and associates, for official business. Here is a great way to do this ..

If you have a passion for arts and crafts, love to create, and have been making their own creations to friends, family and associates, for just the price of materials, well then you're really on your way to success!

Friends and family will always be your best advertisers! .. But if you want it to be official business, and then try to open house ... take all their creations and set them around the house (a room you do not mind people, such as living room, kitchen or dining room ..) to take all the little things .. (now a good time to dust them anyway!) and put your arts and crafts throughout the room, where you can see, and make sure you have a price tag on them .. It is not a freebie show, this is the kick off of its new arts and crafts!.

Be sure to advertise in the local paper, get a friend or family member to help you (the promise of creating usually works!) .. set hours, put up signs and balloons outside the door ... and make sure that the refreshments .. make sure to invite the neighbors personally, as they will ask what is happening in your area! .. Make sure to set the hours as 11:00 to 17:00. and dress nicely, add your smile and show your stuff!

You can call it "your official start date .. Make sure you have a lot of changes, all your business cards, brochures, tailored to leaves .. You must have it all done first. But now people know it's a job. Your friends, family and associates, however, should get a "good deal" from you ... and remember, they are most likely to spread the word about your business, carrying, using or promoting your boat ..

Have a great "Open House"
